Planetscope

Planetscope is a useful reference tool that calculates the positions of the 8 major planets as they orbit around the Sun, as well as the Moon's orbit around the Earth, displaying the results on 3 different views:

- Top-down 'orrery' view showing the relative locations of the planets to each other and to the Sun.

- Sky view, showing the planets locations in the sky, as viewed from your current GPS location.

- Data view, giving detailed readouts for each planet/object

The display can be speeded-up, fast-forwarding the planets' motion to help predict interesting astronomical events and to visualise various concepts about how our Solar System works.

The readings calculated for each object include Rise/Set times, Altitude/Azimuth, Right Ascension/Declination, Distances from Earth/Sun, Apparent Magnitude/Apparent Diameter, Elongation and Phase. Objects shown: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. All readings are calculated in real-time within the program (no internet connection is required).

Planetscope è uno strumento di riferimento utile che calcola le posizioni degli 8 grandi pianeti orbitano intorno al Sole, così come l'orbita della Luna attorno alla Terra, la visualizzazione dei risultati su 3 diversi punti di vista:

- Top-down vista 'planetario' che mostra la posizione relativa dei pianeti tra loro e al sole.

- Vista Sky, che mostra le posizioni dei pianeti nel cielo, come si vede dalla tua posizione GPS corrente.

- Visualizzazione dati, dando letture dettagliate per ogni pianeta / oggetto

Il display può essere accelerato-up, fast-forwarding movimento dei pianeti per aiutare a prevedere eventi astronomici interessanti e di visualizzare i vari concetti su come funziona il nostro Sistema Solare.

Le letture calcolati per ogni oggetto includono tempi di salita / Set, Altitudine / Azimuth, Ascensione Retta / declinazione, Distanze da Terra / Sole, magnitudine apparente / diametro apparente, allungamento e Phase. Gli oggetti visualizzati: Sole, Luna, Mercurio, Venere, Marte, Giove, Saturno, Urano e Nettuno. Tutte le letture sono calcolati in tempo reale all'interno del programma (non è necessaria alcuna connessione a internet).
